This project was created for the design offices of John Fluevog in Vancouver. The office desks were constructed from single sections of construction scaffolding equipped with wheels allowing the layout of the space to be rearranged.
The one-design sail that we choose worked perfectly to create 3 desk dividers without any scrap. We cut the sail in such a way that 4 shapes were made, 3 triangles and one trapezoid. The smallest triangle was sewn onto the trapezoid to create the 3 needed larger triangles needed.
These miniature sails were re-sewn mimicking the original sail construction and hardware.
