Six cars worth of leather car interiors were used in conjunction with recycled sailcloth to create 500 sleek and minimal bags for a Rodarte event during Fashion Week in New York City.
Lexus, the event sponsors, supplied us with the decommissioned auto interiors. Each car seat was deconstructed to efficiently harvest all of the leather components. These leather parts were then die cut and hot stamped into the elegant chain-link handle and logo for each bag.
